Aims and
objectives
Wireless local area networks are common connection
ports in homes and offices for internet usage. However, these connection ports
have been recently recognized as having numerous issues and flaws in terms of
application.
Thus, this objective of this paper is to understand
these flaws and define new approaches that can be used to correct the issues
associated WiLAN and how these issues can be prevented in order to ensure a
safer surfing environment in the internet world.
The approach to this problem will be based on
resolving the issues with the connection port, and giving users a safer
environment. Additional, encryption platforms will be designed as the base
through which the computer users will be able to protect their WiLan system.
The benefit will be that WiLan users will not be
forced to incur payments from internet services that they didn’t actually use
as is common with the recent internet practices as a result of poor WiLan
security.
Data source
for the project
Primary
data source – primary data
will be gathered through interview with WiLan and IT technicians in relation to
how they think the flaws will be prevented, as well as the source of the flaws.
Secondary
data sources – the source of
the secondary data will be computer based journal that have discussed to an
in-depth state the flaws in WiLan connection and how they can be prevented.
Methodology
This paper will adopt two methodologies in the form of
journal studies and interview with technicians. The method of the interview
will be based on reflective questionnaire to understand their perception and
views about the flaws in WiLan connection and how it can be prevented.
Hardware
and software
The important hardware for this assignment is a PC.
The software include necessary connection amplifiers and wireless internet
connection software. They will be obtained from shopping malls.
