Most a times, people have confused “management” with “leadership,” but one thing to note is that while it is possible to be both a leader and a manager, they are not tea me thing.
A leader has vision, numerous visions, or is capable of creating visions – in the context that vision is an overarching idea or dreams that can be achieved. On the other hands, managers do the planning - and this enable them to do the job. When combined together, a leader is the one that envisions the growth, while a manager is the one that planned the approaches or steps that were used to achieve the envisioned growth. Thus, a leader is doing the right thing by envisioning continued growth and sustainability of the company, while a leader is doing things right by planning and executing the plans in order to ensure that the envisioned growth is achieved.
